Dr. Mae Casanova, PsyD. | Founder, growgood psychology

Our mission is to cultivate growth and reduce suffering, individually and thus collectively- by creating safe spaces for connection and understanding while providing therapeutic support and wellness education to members of our community. We do this by providing individual and couples therapy, holistic interventions, educational courses and accessible wellness content.

We have cultivated a practice that is inclusive and individualized at the same time. Our work is based in value and meaning, making sure that this is what is driving your therapy & self discovery goals.

We identify as LGBTQI Ally(s), Inclusivity and Equality Based Clinicians (and people), Anti-racism students, Trauma Informed - but above all, human, just like you.

We believe that social justice issues belong in the therapy room. We understand that many of our clients face discrimination, oppression, and systemic inequalities that impact your mental health. Discussing these issues validates your experiences and acknowledges the external factors contributing to your distress. As mental health professionals, we have an ethical obligation to recognize and address social inequalities. Incorporating social justice into therapy aligns with professional standards and ethical guidelines- we are committed to addressing social justice issues to support holistic healing by considering the interconnectedness of your individual well-being and societal factors.

At the end of the day- we are here WITH you. We all endure suffering and challenge, but you don’t have to do it alone.

And we are humbled and happy that you are here.

growgood in ourselves, each-other and our communities.
